90 days of art

I’m still having a bit of trouble doing a postage-stamp sized painting every single day, but I’m managing by doing sketchy little sketches every day and catching up on the weekends.

I’m up to day 21. I’m not worried about them being beautiful, or recognizable (though in another life I might have done the Chinese take-out carton with a little more care. I just want to do little paintings of things, of stuff, that don’t mean anything beyond what they are.  Here are a few highlights.

Sea glass. A basket of flip flops that Second Child and I share. A bar of soap, a bowl of oatmeal, an early morning clock. All no more or less than what they just are.
